Martinelli Luce’s showroom located in the historic centre of Lucca in via S. Lucia 9 is not only a location for the sale of the lamps produced by the company, but a space open to design, a point of interest and a landmark for architects and designers, as well as a container for previews, exhibitions and special events.



In the 1970s the company moved from the premises in the historical centre in Piazza Bernardini, where a shop had been opened in the 1930s for the sale of electrical material. In the 1950s the production of the first lamps started in the basement of that very shop. Over the years the showroom has acquired more and more space and importance over the years, now extending over two floors. In addition to Martinelli Luce’s products these is also a selection of objects and furnishing accessories on display and for sale from the best national and international brands, with fittings designed directly by architect Emiliana Martinelli. are also on display and for sale

A dynamic space

During the different times of the year, the shop windows are renewed to show the latest lamps and new arrivals, often according to the themes related to particular events taking place in the city, such as Lucca Comics or the Christmas holidays, as can be seen from the pictures. In addition, the showroom has also hosted major events such as the exhibition dedicated to Elio Martinelli, founder of the company, the presentation of the book dedicated to him, other design-related events, or the presentation of the "Cobra Texture" project, that is the reinterpretation of the Cobra lamp, one of the icons of Martinelli Luce’s collection, by well-known designers.
